High perched

The land of this house and the garden level required us to design a patio perched 10 feet in the air. So that it harmonizes well with its environment, we used the stones available on the ground for the masonry of the columns. With a dimension of 12’x24’, this patio is perfect for accommodating several guests.

Since we did not want to obstruct the view of the woods, while respecting the budget, we designed a treated wooden ramp with a lot of openings. We have provided two accesses to the patio. One which overlooks the existing balcony of the house and the other opens onto the back yard. To deal with the slope of the land, we built an angle staircase with a landing.
