As a teenager, Jean-François began to undertake small construction and renovation projects. This is what motivated him to take the course in civil engineering at CEGEP. For a few years, he drew plans for several companies and for an architect. This work made him discover the apparent solid wood structure, designed in the old style. He then developed a real passion for wood.
Over the years, Jean-François had a renovation business, he made furniture and he even built his house and his garage. It was the construction of a spa chalet and a deck on stilts that gave him the interest of designing outdoor living spaces. Jean-François therefore took the general contractor course and at that time the company La Fabrik 19 was born. It was in 2016.
Since then, Jean-François and his team have designed several projects per year and each one is carried out with the same attention to detail and the same requirements as if it were at home!

From an early age, Annick always liked the new, she rearranged her room twice a year. She always loved changing the color of the walls according to trends and restoring old furniture to make new ones. A teacher by training, planning and project management are part of her daily life.
The self-construction of her house was a revelation for her in terms of her manual skills! She therefore embarked on the adventure of La Fabrik 19 with Jean-François. She designed the first website and received WordPress training. Since then, she has been responsible for the visibility of the company, helping with the design and management of projects. But who knows? Perhaps with a little luck, you will come across it with a drill in hand on a construction site!
